Subaru Ambassador National Team CleanUP
On February 25, 2022 we participated in The Subaru Ambassador National CleanUp.
I reached out to Operation Green Team which promotes the greening of Huntsville through beautification, litter prevention, social and environmental consciousness. They provided the gloves, litter grabbers, trash bags, safety vests and water.
They are always eager to help.
There is a stretch of roadway that just seems to be a consistent dumping ground for trash and litter. It is near Landers McLarty Subaru.
I am pleased to report that it was a huge success even braving the bitter cold!! Three Subaru Ambassadors: Johnny, JB and myself, along with members of the Green Team and employees from Landers McLarty Subaru diligently picked up over 200 pounds of trash, including buckets, pipe, parts of a tire, wood pallet and a grocery cart, just in a few hours!!
